Ear Wax Removal

What is ear wax removal via microsuction?

Ear wax removal via microsuction is a method used by healthcare professionals, to remove excess ear wax (cerumen) from the ear canal. How to Prepare your Ears with Olive Oil

Prior to your appointment you will be asked to oil both your ears.

This is designed to prepare the earwax for removal and help to make the proceedure more comfortable for you.

If you do not do this, you are very likely to have to return for a follow up appointment at an additonal cost.

As a hint...We're able to tell if oiling has been done or not!

1. Please only use OLIVE OIL based ear drops / spray. No sodium bicarbonate or hydrogen peroxide products. Unless instructed by us.

2. Places oil in both ears 2x per day for 3 - 5 days prior to your appointment.

3. Tilt head to one side to allow the oil to reach deep within the ear canal and soak into the ear wax.

4. Massage around your ears to help loosen the ear wax.
